The Richmond Hills neighborhood of Tulsa has the Fred Creek running through it at the north end and comes to semi-point just past East 71st Street. Children attend Jenks West Intermediate Elementary or Jenks Middle school.
Rustic Meadows is a moderate, small bedroom type neighborhood with homes priced from $100 to $150. Many of the homes are older and have been renovated. Located between Memorial Drive and 77th Avenue, commute to work for the residents is easy, and there are schools within walking distance.
The Shadow Mountain neighborhood is an older one in Tulsa, lined with homes that have been maintained for years by the same owners. The homes average in the low to mid $200s, and the residents enjoy this kid-friendly, pet-friendly neighborhood. This is an Americana type place.
The homes in the Sheridan Valley neighborhood are priced from the low $100s up to $150s, with some reaching $200k. Families send their children to Darnaby Elementary School and shop at the nearby Walmart Neighborhood store or the Forest Trails Shopping Center, and Square 1 Shopping Center. A favorite dining experience in this neighborhood is Siegi Sausage Factory or Chimis Mexican.
The Silver Oaks neighborhood is filled with modest to higher end priced homes, some with private swimming pools. On the eastern outskirt are several apartment complexes and families in this neighborhood frequent the LaFortune County Park, Eton Square 6 Cinema and B&B Theatres. For dining out, they choose The French Hen Bistro & Wine Bar or Gigi’s or chains such as Rib Crib and Sonic as well.
The Southern Plaza neighborhood homes are priced from $100k up to the mid $200s, and there are approximately 700 residents here. They do the majority of the shopping at Fortuntana Shopping Center and Woodland Hills Mall. Frequent dining experiences are Tropical Restaurant & Bar, Villa Ravenna, or the popular Oklahoma Joe’s for BBQ.
The homes in this neighborhood start around the low $130s and reach up to $200s. The residents have a private community swimming pool, and many of the favorites are nearby for dining such as Oklahoma Joe’s and The Spudder Restaurant or Sam’s Southern Eatery. Shopping is close by with The Farm Shopping Center and Pier 1 Imports.
Apartment living is the majority of Tulsa’s Woodland Oaks neighborhood. There are ample dining and shopping nearby, walking distance or public transportation. A Lowe’s is nearby as is the Cinemax Tulsa and IMAX for entertainment. Dining nearby includes Texas Roadhouse, and for fresh foods, the Eastside Market is close.
Families in the Bridle Trail neighborhood enjoy several close by parks such as River Parks. Here they enjoy community activities and festivals. For dining out options, the residents can be found at Ridge Grill or The Tavern or for a taste of the Caribbean; residents will dine at Sisserous. There are many national chain eateries scattered around the exterior of this neighborhood, lending to the teenage residents to find employment as well as giving families options for eating out.
Residents of Cedarcrest neighborhood frequent Sooner Produce for the wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Dining out maybe a meal at Pepper’s Grill for Mexican or ordering a pizza from Domino’s off East 91st Street.
The Darlington neighborhood is not far from downtown Tulsa. There are the Blue Dome District, East Village and the Oil Capital Historic District for entertainment and educational purposes.
Forest Creek neighborhood on the south side of Tulsa is a friendly neighborhood where residents know each other and watch out for each other. Families send their children to the high-ranking Jenks schools and there is a community pool, Forest Creek Pool, that is surrounded by a park with a playground.
The Heatherridge neighborhood starts just north of Creek Turnpike and reaches just south of East 91st Street with South 73rd East Avenue to the west and Sheridan Avenue to the east.
Residents of Silver Chase neighborhood enjoy a quiet, bedroom community in high-end homes, but they are just a short drive from some of Tulsa’s popular historic sites. Such as the Praying Hands of ORU and Oklahoma Aquarium, both located just the other side of Creek Turnpike, a toll road that runs east to west through Tulsa.
Southern Pointe neighborhood is located on the southern side of Tulsa. Dotted with homes that value from the $200s to the $300s, each customized and unique while staying within requirements of the POA, making this a preferred neighborhood.
